Fetchmail has this as a feature it's called multidrop mode
in a .frechmailrc write
poll <mail server> user <your user name> password <your passwd> is *
it is meant to be *, this wild card copies the mail to your smtp server without
doing any header altering to user names.
well that's how I have interpreted the FAQ's
I have set-up a site which gets the mail in the same way your after. and I did
it as listed above.
