[fetchmail]fetchmail doesn't take #'s as username

When the username is totally consists of numaric value, fetchmail doesn't 
seem to understand it.
for example, if i upt "user 12345" in my .fetchmailrc, i got the error msg 
saying "parse error at 12345". Anyone has any luck getting around this?
