I'm trying to get 5.9.7 to compile under RedHat 7.2, but I'm getting stuck
when the Makefile in the intl directory is used. It seems that the option
@LIBTOOL@ is not getting replaced.
Am I missing some utility which ./configure needs?
cd intl; make
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/dickson/amber/downloads/fetchmail-5.9.7/intl'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `libintl(_dot_)(_at_)l@a', needed by
`all-yes'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/dickson/amber/downloads/fetchmail-5.9.7/intl'
make: *** [(_at_)INTLDEPS@] Error 2
Same here on SuSE 7.3, I used --disable-nls --without-included-gettext
to overcome this. At the expense of a localization, obviously.
