If you are polling in daemon mode, you will get the "repoll" error
message only once. Hope that is acceptable.
To avoid the "repoll" error message completely, you may add
authenticate "password"
to your fetchmailrc file.

P.S.:
The man page incorrectly states that the default authentication type
is "password" in the "Keyword/Option Summary" section. It is actually
"any".
Maybe, this question should go in the FAQ?
