I have started getting these since moving my fetchmail installation from
one machine to another. Note, never saw this until when I moved it a week
ago.
Connection to the server is via vtun VPN, but this doesn't seem to be
the problem as _most_ mail arrives OK.

As you see, in this case fetchmail recovered and I'm still in business.
Sometimes, though, it hangs:

A restart puts things back to rights.
