Hi all,
As you may know the option --configdump tells fetchmail to dump its
configuration as a Python datastructure. As I am more into perl
and had a hard time parsing the rc file myself, I figured I'd build upon this
to make fetchmail output a perl hash/list of
hashes/lists instead. So I tweaked conf.c and came up with something that
actually worked (for me, that is). I hope others might
benefit from this work as well so I put it up for download. It is tested with
the latest fetchmail version (6.1.2) but is expected
to work with older versions as well. Get the files (source and example) at
www.klaverstijn.nl/downloads. I expect some scrutiny. Any
suggestions will be grately appreciated but please send them to me in person.
