[fetchmail] fetchmail + procmail not flushing the email on remote site

one of my pop3 mailbox was spammed by some Chinese messages.poll
I setup fetchmail to call procmail to handle the non-ASCII
mailbox names, but unfortunately, it did not work.

pop3.target.com
protocol POP3
username 'myaccount' is localaccount
password 'mypassword'
mda "/usr/bin/procmail -d %T"
options pass8bits;

the fetch stopped with all those non-ASCII "From:" email address.
How could I fetch those messages? If I use OE or mozilla, the fetch
would work out.
