I'm running a small fetchmail (6.1.0, I'll get around to upgrading to 6.2.0
eventually) setup at my office. Somebody has asked if I can use fetchmail
to pull the contents of a POP mailbox and then send the contents on to
another, unrelated (other than it also being theirs) address.
Would the following work:
poll pop.isp.net
proto pop3
username "user" password "pass"
smtphost "smtp.company.com"
is "name(_at_)company(_dot_)com" here
Or is there more to it than that? I'd rather not have the local mail server
(Sendmail 8.12.6) doing any address re-writing if I can avoid it.
TIA
Please DO NOT send me ANY email directly unless it's a privacy issue.
