[fetchmail] fetchmail-6.2.3 gets confused and aborts

I pasted in our bugzilla[1] some fetchmail conversations with a POP3
server where fetchmail-6.2.3 gets confused and chokes on some spam
messages, while fetchmail-6.2.1 just skipped them. Excerpt below:

Note that, with 6.2.3, parts of the message's body appear in the middle
of the commands fetchmail is sending. Also note that DELE 1 didn't actually
delete the message.
