Hello actually one of my greatest interests is to fight the Spamming that I
receive daily.
Wonder if could you (developers) integrate a filtering function inside fetchmail
so that (for example) be able to recognize a possible Spam message before it get
processed by procmail be and passed to smtp ?
I attach an example that is integrated (probably at smtp level) into one of
mine ISP's POP servers (infact this is among the most Spam free server)
I tried to send to myself a Spam message with a well declared Subject:
From: Marco Calistri <ik5bcu(_at_)tin(_dot_)it>
To: websysop(_at_)genie(_dot_)it
Subject: Viagra on the fly
Then I retrieved it using fetchmail:
# my fetchmailrc passes all fetched mail to my local qmail:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at linux.ik5bcu.ampr.org.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<websysop(_at_)genie(_dot_)it>:
212.239.44.84 failed after I sent the message.
