I want to do something rather asinine.
1. fetchmail pulls mail from server
2. delivers to sendmail which does .forward processing
3. .forward passes to procmail which sorts and delivers to local folders
4. mail is now on localhost nicely organized
5? Can I use fetchmail to "push" each of those folders back to an imap server?
Why? Because I want to be able to use procmail to filter my mail but want to
read it via an imap connection to server. The server has no user accounts.
Here's a crude diagram of the mail flow:
INBOX Imap folders
v ^
\ /
\\\\\ ///////
v /
localhost ^
procmail folders
Can this be done?
TIA,
Sam
