The mda lines goes after the user line within the poll section.
I got it working....:)

I dunno, maybe a quoting or line-break problem? Hard to tell
without seeing what you've got in .fetchmailrc. Having mda on
line 1 is unlikely to be correct, since it's a "user" keyword
which needs to be preceded by the "server" keywords.
