Hello,
I use the following form of fetchmailrc to get the mails
out of a pop3 server and plug it into my Exchange server.
my fetchmailrc:
set invisible
set syslog
set daemon 240
poll server with proto pop3
user "myLogin" password "myPassword"
no rewrite smtphost 192.168.1.20 smtpname mfranke(_at_)exchange
This works well, but Im not quite sure what happens, when the
exchange server is down?
Right now we use a pop3 connector software that runs on the
windows machine, but I would like to get rid of it. But, if the
windows machine is down, the pop3 software is down to.
And in my "new" config fetchmail is running on a different
server then the exchange.
My fear is, I could loose mail, which my boss really would
not like very much. Guess why *gg*
Will my mail be safe?
Marcus, bit unsure atm
