Hello,
I am a novice to fetchmail.
Why does the .fetchmailrc has to be in the root
directory (i.e., unix machine).?
I would want the configuration files to be part of my
database.
Suppose I want to do fetchmail for millions of users.
I dont want to
have configuration files for all of them mapped to a
unix machine.
Instead I want them to be part of my database.
Some of the Mail Transfer agents like sendmail /
postfix support this.
How can I do this with fetchmail? Are there any other
softwares that
do fetchmail and support database?
Thanks in advance,
Sri
