Hi folks
I've got a problem with fetchmail
Version of fetchmail?
I've also included my fetchmail command (cron job)
fetchmail -s -U
Why not use daemon mode - that's what it's there for after all.
I was also getting the following errors during the day yesterday
fetchmail: timeout after 300 seconds waiting for server
pop.mail.yahoo.com.au.
fetchmail: socket error while fetching from pop.mail.yahoo.com.au
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
Network connectivity problems (as a search of the list archive would
have told you)
Any advice as to what I can do to improve fetchmails' reliability and
performance?
Well, I'd start off by running it in daemon mode. However there is
nothing fetchmail can do if it can't connect to the remote servers.
