Well, it should work just fine for eastern European languages too, and the Russians (cyrillic) say they like it. Japanese people are quite happy with the Kana mnemonics. It is only ideographic that is a problem, as it is less usefull than the JIS scheme. I may even have a solution to that one. Keld
