Last Call: Multipurpose Mail Extensions to Proposed Standard

1992-03-31 08:25:59

The IESG has sent out a second last call prior to recommending MIME to
the IAB. This version reflects the changes requested by the IAB, but
does not reflect the latest changes to the g3fax specification. If
necessary the document can be revised again, or the changes can be
deferred until the document is republished, presumably as a Draft
Standard in about 6 months.

Subject: Last Call: Multipurpose Mail Extensions to Proposed Standard

The IESG has received a revised version of the Internet Draft "MIME
(Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions)"
<draft-ietf-822ext-messagebodies-04.txt> from the Internet Message
Extensions Working Group. This document reflects both specific editorial
changes requested by the IESG and minor bug fixes.

The IESG plans to issue a recommendation next week, and solicits final
comments on this elevation. Please send any comments to the
iesg(_at_)nri(_dot_)reston(_dot_)va(_dot_)us, or ietf(_at_)isi(_dot_)edu
mailing lists by April 9th.

Greg Vaudreuil
IESG-Secretary
