[ USENET message-id restrictions ]
What are those restrictions?
No comments; no spaces inside IDs; etc.
You should be happy about the restrictions. After all, your software has
never handled RFC 822 comments and spaces correctly. For example, I just
fired up Pine 4.44 on the RFC 822 example
From: Muhammed.(I am the greatest) Ali @(the)Vegas.WBA
and received the error message
``INVALID_ADDRESS(_at_)(_dot_)SYNTAX-ERROR(_dot_)'' when I
tried to import that address into the Pine address book.
