then, at that time we found that it was possible to devise an algorithm
that did an extremely satisfactory job at what we then called "Wide
Replies" using only a single non-standard extension to the email
protocols. The non-standard header we used was
X-Andrew-Wide-Reply: <addrlist>
That looks rather like Mail-Followups-To to me.
