Nor me. And none of the messages that I sent with From: <> (or <-(_at_)[]>) has
appeared either. So something somewhere is eating them.

I find this surprising, but also worrying. I suspect
(where the list is expanded).

So I shall try another couple of tests, this time directly to port 25 at (that is where the MX record points, though it seems to
forward it to without adding adding a Received of its
own). I shall use postmaster(_at_)clerew(_dot_)man(_dot_)ac(_dot_)uk as the 
envelope sender, just
to show up clearly if someone creates a From out of it.

One will have no From
The other will have From: <>
