We use DSBL and NJABL to find open relays/proxies (yes, NJABL now tests
for open proxies as of recently). Both have been very effective for us.
We also use SBL to find known spammers and find it is very effective.
The SBL is very different from some other DNS blacklists that send
unsolicited and unprovoked bulk email to innocent, virolently
anti-spam outifts in the name of various sorts of testing.
