Hello,
Someone suggested forwarding at SMTP session, the same way as HTTP does.
As long as forwarding/redirection is something which breaks many other possible mail features (SPF,
...), it could be something interesting.
A typical SMTP session could be something of the kind :
>>>RCPT To: someone(_at_)xx(_dot_)com
<<<FORWARD To: otherone(_at_)yy(_dot_)com
This kind of thing isn't an open relay as the SMTP server shall maintain a table/database of
redirections or, at least, some redirection rules.
Was this kind of thing already discussed in the past ? Any thoughs ?
Regards,
Jose-Marcio
