gmail.com is a virtual domain with no subdomains (afaik)
www.gmail.com at least, probably others.
Really, you know, there's a lot of expertise on this list, and if we
unanimously say that something is a bad idea, you might want to at
least momentarily contemplate the possibility that it really is a bad
idea.
