IETF rough consensus is predicated on developing support for
a view. Hence,
developing that support is a fundamental hurdle that is a natural and
constructive part of the IETF process.
Participants in an IETF process are not obligated to respond
to anyone's postings.
But people are quite justified in pointing out the failure to respond to
those points.
This is particularly the case when the individual was a co-chair of the
BOF and thus expected to act in a consensus finding role.
It appears that this role is no longer active, if indeed it ever was
active.
