You seem to have a talent for arbitration, or want to show you do.

Actually, I've been quite nice by normal standards and guess what, I deal
with people with the time and I don't think Dave has an annoying writing
style.   I don't see that at all.  So it might help to understand you can't
be right all the time as well.

I think I have done my part.

Hector.  Calm down.  It looks like you and Dave mostly agree here.

It sounds like you got a hostile reaction from some people, but those
people don't speak for everyone.  You DO have an annoying, sometimes
overly-argumentative writing style.  But guess what?  So does Dave.

Anyway... just be as patient as you can, explain what you think, and try
to
hear other people out.  If you're going to disagree, do so politely, even
if you think the disagreement is stupid.  I'm not just picking on you; I
expect the same from everyone.
