Dear Bill,
Instead of retyping a bland message that informs all of us that the IESG
approved Open-PGP as an 'official' IETF Working Group, I just sent the more
jazzy release. What's the big deal? Open-PGP is an IETF thing, NOT a PGP,
Inc. thing. And this list is for Open-PGP IETF dialog.

for what it's worth, none of the other working groups I read regularly
get press-release-type postings..
