Actually, Paul, by publishing the results, Lutz has done us all a favor.
The few number of voters is a much more vivid demonstration than my words
of how inconclusive such polls frequently are in an IETF mailing list. As
Harald observed, the number of contributors to the mailing list far
exceeded the number of participants in the poll.
Lutz, once again, thank you for taking the time to do this. Unfortunately,
this time the results are not particularly helpful. Polls may have their
place, but we will put this aside for now.
