Actually I have some code that handles 2.1 DEKs :). And signatures ;).
If you want, I can remove the reference to V2.
I have mixed feelings. Some really old messages might use the RSAref V2
packets and then would not work, although they could. But in general it
might be better to err on the other side (if they have such a message they
should have a 2.X version of PGP around that can read it).
But to avoid confusion, removing any reference to V2 is best (and let
implementors who might want it read the old docs and figure out how to add
this - the spec says nothing else about V2 compatibility).
