I have just submitted another ID for OpenPGP/MIME. It implements
the latest suggestion re text/binary mode signatures, and trailing
white space. Namely, it strictly prohibits trailing whitespace and
leaves the question of the signature mode open.
This approach should achieve a maximum of interoperability between
the various implementations of the standard. Also, all
implementations would still conform to RFC 2015.
