Nit picks on draft-beck-opes-irml-01.txt

  "request-path"       the relative path of the request URI

My guess is that a "request-path" is the "rel_path" as defined in
RFC2068 "HTTP/1.1".  If so please be this specific in your draft.
Maybe though you meant the "abs_path" minus params and query parts,
I don't know.

If needed, the double-quote character (") MUST be represented in any
attribute value as """ (as specified in [5]).

And presumably and '&' must also be quoted otherwise one can't match
"""

Also, in the examples you seem to have a lot of comments starting with
just "<!-" rather than <!--".
