Some nits--small and (maybe) not small:
1. Cert-03.txt:
a. Purpose of document should be stated in new/old
Section 1.0. It seems to be hiding now in Section 2.0.
b. Section 1.1, line 7. Why a "SEQUENCE"? Why not
"one or more"?
c. Section titles starting with Section 2.1.
Eliminate the run-on use of words.
d. Section 2.1. Delete "for" from line 1. This
section seems confusing what with receiving agents, sending agents,
clients, users, etc. Recommend that these terms be defined in Section 1.1
or "harmonized".
f. Recommend that document be given a "PKI scrub"
starting with Section 2.1.
g. Section 4.1, line 6-8. Keep this sentence, and
delete the rest of the Section.
h. Section 5.0, lines 2-3. It's unclear what the
relationship is between the "S/MIME agent" and "protecting the user's
private key." Shouldn't the user protect his/her/its private key period?
i. More to come.

Greetings, y'all. I've just made Blake's latest versions, -03, of the
-cert
and -msg drafts available at:

These will be the versions we'll be talking from at the IETF meeting on
Monday. However, there's no need to wait until then to start commenting
(the same's true for -cms and -ess).

time.)
