Real Life Example - RFC822 in a mergered firm

To: IETF PKIX list, IETF SMIME list,

This is all too familiar to those of you who follow these lists, but I could not
resist sharing my own "troubles."

Since Bank of America (BankAmerica.com) and NationsBank (NationsBank.com)
merged, the preferred domain for email is BankofAmerica.com. Our kind email
gateway changes all the outbound (and inbound) names for us so that internally
we are still using the two old domains. (See signature validation messages on
this S/MIME signed message.)

We have also implemented the SMTP sender authentication mechanism so I must
remain
     mack(_dot_)hicks(_at_)bankamerica(_dot_)com
internally.

But you can all call me: Mack
See you in DC.
