This is the same configuration of information that occurs when you
receive mail from mailing lists that do not use the List-ID field.
Hence, your heuristic will fail some/much of the time.
Since you are describing a user interface 'warning', as the action to
take, it might tolerate some failures, depending upon the percentage and
rate of failure. There is also the question of whether such a warning
message would have any efficacy for regular users. There's good
indication that it would not.
