That's why we need a different namespace approach, which looks close
enough to the dns at the user/application level, so that the same API(s)
will work, but is architected differently.

Carpenter had remarked back in '01  that maybe what I had could be better
described as a more successful namespace. However, getting that published
as a networking paper seems as hard as the classical derivation of Planck's
law and the missing thermodynamic details they don't want to learn. It's
so frustrating to work alone and become unable to communicate, even if it
lightens the inertia to make great leaps quietly :(
