Dear IETF,
besides patent nonsense driven by third parties there's more to oppose to.
The currently at IETF discussed TLS-authz is a candidate because
RedPhone Security hinders reaching the basic goal of the IETF: Creating
standards for common languages.
While standardizing a technique like TSL-authz might look desirable,
spreading this technique and taking money from all people who used it in
past and today is not. In fact it is the opposite of IETF's goal.
Please don't betray your ideals! Stop making TLS-authz even an
experimental standard.
Yours sincerely,
Florian Weitling
