That's quite true.  Let us start by rationalizing the spelling and
punctuation of written English (which is the coding system for *this
entire discussion*).  Once we've cleaned up that idiocy, we can start
in on SIP.

I don't think the IETF is the right forum for such a project,
and my personal feeling is that it is infeasible anyway.


While it would have probably much easier to teach everyone english
(and use ASCII), the opposite approach was taken and every piece
of technology was spoiled with I18N, L10N and Unicode, reinforcing
the communication barriers that exist throughout this world,
among machines/devices and among human beings.
