Dear Jari,
The Internet Society Board of Trustees has retained the Executive Search firm
of Odgers Berndtson to help us identify qualified candidates for the Internet
Society's President & CEO position. As announced earlier this year,
Lynn St.Amour plans to step down as President & CEO in February 2014 at the
conclusion of her contract.

recruitment services and has more than 53 offices worldwide. We are extremely
confident that Odgers Berndtson offers the breadth of experience and
resources to help us find the absolute right candidate for the Internet
Society and the broader Internet community.
Working with Odgers Berndtson, the Board's CEO Search Committee has finalized
the position description, below. The position is being announced on the
homepage of the Internet Society website and in messages to all ISOC member
and stakeholder email lists and appropriate Internet community lists.
Additionally, in the next two weeks, Odgers Berndtson will place an
advertisement in The Economist magazine and publicize the opportunity through
its global network.
We will continue to keep you updated on a very regular basis on our
recruitment plans and the ongoing search. If you have any questions or
