Hi Hennie,
I'm not an expert as I recently (2 weeks ago I started testing with
mharc). However, the following worked for me.
# cd /beta2/html/lists
# bin/web-archive -rebuild a-list -mboxdir .
The file that I converted also had 5 years worth of emails which I had
exported from Netscape and then "web-archive" did all the rest.
Afterwards check
# vi cgi-bin/mnav.cgi
change $url_archive_root = '/lists/html';
Perhaps there is a better and easier way, but I'm new at this also.
Hope that helps.
William

Subject: Re: cgi-bin ScriptAlias question (found the answer...)
Thanks folks,
I managed to find a workaround...
Next question.
I have 5 years worth of archived mail but my mharc setup only indexed
the last 11 months. How can I have *all* my archived mail be searchable
and dsiplayed ?
Best regards,
Hennie

Hi there folks,
I'm knee deep in the installation of "mharc". It has all the latest
prerequisites including mharc itself. I'm running it on a Sun (Solaris
8) using Apache as a web-server.
My question:
In my httpd.conf there is already a ScriptAlias defined for cgi-bin
that points to a different directory containing cgi executables.
What should I add to my httpd.conf file to have my cgi's executed in
the installed directory ?
Best regards,
Hennie
