how to include Message-ID?

I'd like to include the Message-ID header in the message display.
I've added the following to my lib/common.mrc.in:

<FIELDORDER> 
to 
subject 
from 
date 
cc 
message-id 
organization 
</FIELDORDER> 

However, it doesn't make any difference, Message-ID is still left
out.  Is there something special about this header?
