Yes, but you have to use the other-indexes capability because
your author index is an "other" MAIN index.  You set <NOTHREAD>
in _both_ RCFILEs.

More in archives.  Maybe search on "author."  But start with the
webbed documentation.  Then search the archives for the resource
name where you get stuck.
