An online conference page

I ma preparing a Web site for the NSW Writers Centre in Sydney.

On hte site is an area for online conference where people can post email
and respond to email that htey see and it is all displayed on a Web page. 
I have accessed the MHonArc software.

I'm wondering if anybody could walk me through the process of getting such
a page working or show me where such a tutorial might be.  I not bad in
HTML but get a bit lost in PERL.
