wilma_reindex is careful to change the permissions on the index files such
that they're readable (or at least to whatever you set at the mode); are
you sure that something didn't fail before it made it to this part?
You might also try sending your message to the authors, as I don't believe
Dave reads this list. (I'm the other author, but I'm getting ready to
leave the country so there isn't much I can do right now.)
