Suppress <HR> before link to MHonArc on index pages?

I'd like to keep the mention "Mail converted by MHonArc 2.3.3" at the
bottom of my index pages, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the
horizontal rule that just precedes it. I'd like to have no rule or
insert my own rule.gif. The <DOC> resource info doesn't seem to shed
much light, and I can't figure out where else it might be coming from.
