It seems that for some reason - in most but not all of the INTERNAL mailing
lists that we archive with MHonArc - many
of the threads are initially broken.
I just remembered an other aspect to this. It seems you have the
opposite problem to me in that your "in-reply-to" is working "too well",
whereas in my case most messages don't have it.
Maybe you could just tell MHonArc to ignore the "in-reply-to" and sort
by "subject|date" instead? Maybe this would solve the issue of users
hitting "reply" when starting a new thread?
