Although it is claimed that Namazu only supports English and Japanese,

It is limited under a certain special condition.
It is limited to the HTML file of the numeric realities reference that
Mr. Earl Hood says.
When mail is processed with recent MHonArc, HTML of the numeric
realities reference can be filed. (Only ISO-8859-1)
The problem doesn't come to light so much if only the document
converted with MHonArc is processed with mknmz
It is not because it is occupied that this supports it excluding
English.
Moreover, because IEM-network operating center uses pipermail,
circumstances might bedifferent from MHonArc.
Though it is a bytalk:
The filter for pipermail is included in next version Namazu 2.0.15.
