I pretty much avoid this problem by having the list of folders stored as a cache which is updated when mh-e creates or deletes folders. I avoid the initial folder scan by re-building the cache every night from cron. Instead of having a cache, how difficult would it be to do folder name completion on the fly like find-file does? Something I've been meaning to ask is why mh-e only supports the + method of accessing folders and not the @ relative folder name referencing? Thanks. Jeff
