I have patched my 6.8.3 to allow
#text/plain [my wide listing] {base64} wide.txt
I am hoping to have a little bit of time to apply the 6.8.4
patch on my tree and see the differences. It will take some
time, though, as I was not using CVS when I hacked on 6.8.3.
