I may be being dense, but if you want to wrangle replcomps before
repl gets to it, write yourself a little wrapper script to do it, doesn't
matter what language it is in. Sort of like how you can do rotating sigs
and the like by rewriting the whatnow proc. Personally, if I have to turn
something *off* in the configuration phase to keep my command line mail
reader pristine I'm going to be a wee bit annoyed.
However, I'd be all for a 'contrib' section which had things like
rmmer (which I use), the script bits to make exmh and nmh excessively well
together, script bits to make various imap servers deal with mh folders
much more efficiently, and any other additions / improvements to nmh that
people found them selves having writted up, including howto's on common
things.
(For instance, I've got a 'scun' script that does a scan listing of
multiple folders unseen messages, not real bright but useful.)

=I certainly wasn't proposing that the existing command line functions go away
=by any means, but as an exmh developer, I think we could do a lot for exmh
=performance by more tightly integrating mh and tcl.

=I had although thought issues like running a tcl script instead of replcomps
=like Ken mentioned although I didn't mention it in my original message.

=I say this as someone who doesn't actually like tcl much as a language, but
