I may be being dense, but if you want to wrangle replcomps before
repl gets to it, write yourself a little wrapper script to do it, doesn't
matter what language it is in. Sort of like how you can do rotating sigs
and the like by rewriting the whatnow proc. Personally, if I have to turn
something *off* in the configuration phase to keep my command line mail
reader pristine I'm going to be a wee bit annoyed.
So ... how would that work, exactly? Write a script to replace all of
"repl"? My problem is I want to make more complex decisions _inside_
of replcomps ... and it's not clear to me how to do that in a reasonable
way. One good way would be to embed a language instead of the simple
substitution that replcomps does now.
And as for keeping your command line mail reader "pristine" ... well,
I don't even know WHAT that means. If you don't use it and it doesn't
affect your use of nmh, how could it matter?
