It would be great having a set of man pages based on mandoc macros.
mandoc provides a portable set of macros for writing documentation.
The mandoc macros are available for every modern version of troff
and support some nice features as automatic translation of the manual
pages to HTML (very useful for providing an on-line nmh manual).
In my humble opinion, mandoc macros are superior to the old V7 man
macros.
I am aware about how difficult this project is, some manual pages
change when compiling nmh with optional features (e.g., POP3); it
is not as easy as translating the troff source to the new set of
macros.
It is just a wish for a future release,
